Be Here and Now, and Flow
Costa Rica retreat here I come, daffodils, worm moon lunar eclipse, power of now, thaw out, be you, he has risen
“All that is, and all that I am is here and now.” This was the mantra during Sunday’s full moon yoga master class, with March’s Worm moon being a reminder that this is a time of thawing out and preparing to tap into the flow of life that is in us….. As things that are stiff are becoming unstuck from a long winter, we can also prepare for this transformation by prioritizing self-love and tapping into our deeper selves. Trusting that all that you have been searching for will manifest at the right time. When you choose to trust and surrender to the universal flow, you have faith that all that is meant to be will unfold. You just have to anchor into the present moment to listen to the internal guidance and wisdom, all answers lie within. I experienced intense emotions surfacing from the past with the lunar eclipse in Libra, a transformative time to release, heal and start living more fully from the heart.

The recipe to happiness in life is relatively simple in context but the daily practice needs to turn into our way of living and of “being.” It’s about becoming the person you were always meant to be, flowing with life and following the inner guidance within in and living in the present moment, living as if today is a new, we get to experience life fully. Reminds me of the wisdom by Eckhart Tolle, “As soon as you honor the present moment, all unhappiness and struggle dissolve, and life begins to flow with joy and ease. When you act out the present-moment awareness, whatever you do becomes imbued with a sense of quality, care, and love – even the most simple action.” If you haven’t read his book, The Power of Now, it’s a goodie to start learning how to embark on the spiritual journey of how being present is the way.
With it being days away from the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday, scripture reminds us that Jesus willingly laid down his life because he loved us and wanted to set us free from fear so we can live fully. He feared not because he knew that death is not the end of the story. We are all sheep in need of a Shepherd who will guide and protect us and we have that through following Jesus Christ. When life feels too heavy, give it God and be ready to listen for he will show us the way and protect us from all things evil. The choice is ours to listen to his guidence. I enjoyed this clip shown in service this week showing that just like sheep, we need the true love and guidance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLZW-kWr1F4
This last week, some of us learned about the beautiful symbolism of new beginnings with the spring flower daffodils when the news of Princess Kate Middlton’s cancer diagnosis became public. Although unfortunate news, another example of not only how cancer does not discriminate but how we don’t have to succumb to life experiences as a tragedy but as an opportunity to rise higher. My heart was touched when one of my dancers walked into rehearsal and handed me a beautiful mason jar of fresh daffodils from her garden and she said “I heard you had cancer so wanted to give these to you.”
There’s not a day that goes by that I’m not reminded to live for today! Having lunch with my soul friend Jenn after she stopped by our rehearsal and she got to experience the beautiful joy with my dance group, I was reminded by her to GO FOR IT in regards to living fully and her comment of “we are all listening” really resonated with me so I decided to start taking more action! Continuing to thrive living with my chroinc cancer diagnosis, living more boldly and beautifully, I’m so exciting for the beautiful life God has planned for me now. I’m choosing to do what brings me joy! I found out about a really cool spiritual festival happening this summer locally called Karma Fest so I snagged my ticket for that. Similarly I’m excited to attend Vegandale Festival in Philly this summer. My biggest jump to create more spiritual experiences that I’ve been manifesting for months now was booking my first solo trip for this fall, a 5 day SILENT (yes, I will practice silence) Mindfulness Meditation and Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica!!! When I came across this opportunity in my search, I knew with certainty this would be a staple for my spiritual growth and I can’t wait to attend and share my experience with all. Sometimes you just have to GO FOR IT!
Can’t wait to be on this floor!
I had the pleasure of watching my great niece Anyiah the last two days while she was off school for spring break and my niece still had her teacher professional days. We were able to squeeze in morning teatime in bed with snuggles, enjoy the joy of eating all the foods, daily sunshine walks and loads of playfulness. She said that she didn’t even ask if it was an option to go with her mom to work because she knew she wanted to come over and hangout with me and continues to be mini me…..we just vibe differently even though she’s 7! While I was adding my detox drops, doing my red light therapy, preparing for coffee enema etc, as expected she started inquisitively asking questions about why I was doing what I was doing and I asked if she knew that I had cancer and what that meant to her. She confidently agreed that she also believes in the power of healing the body and said “yeah, you already beat cancer once.” My favorite is when she draws on my fridge and today’s beautiful illustration had the message “love is the best” and I couldn’t agree more! We just need to live from our heart with LOVE!!!!
Speaking of living and love, I’m looking forward to celebrating Michael’s milestone birthday this weekend away at the beach with his family and friends. Anddddddd that means some grounding at the beach and breathing in all the salty air!!!!! Thankful to make it back to celebrate Easter with my family and appreciative of their efforts to make some cleaner food options so I can indulge in holiday food. My niece who is a Young Living consultant, also hooked me up with Ningxin, an antioxidant powerhouse beverage made with Chinese wolfberries, commonly known as goji berry. Excited to add this as another daily wellness product.

Lastly, my belly and soul was nourished when I had a friends pizza party night with chef Erin and Dave over the weekend, experimenting all different pizza combos with their Ooni pizza oven and of course finding the healthiest swaps for flour and toppings, even threw on some Lion’s Mane, my favorite mushie. Paired with some organic Italian red wine!
If you haven’t learned anything from my journey yet……it’s to get busy living friends!!!!!! Happy Easter!
have so much fun on your trip!!!
COSTA RICA!!!!!! 💕
